As opposed to writing this as an abstract that some third party drafted, I will try and keep it simple and honest. This site is essentially the internet manifestation of the struggle I have endured with myself, since abandoning my aspirations of following an art career. This occurred after running into an individual, which I had immensely admired artistically during high school, who informed they were still painting, but struggling between welfare checks. I decided to join the Marine Corp and later pursued a "professional" major in college after having a nightmare about the life of a starving artist. Like many things in life, for what seemed a long period of time, my choice was agreeable.
I majored in Political Science and Public Relations, aspiring to be a lawyer of some type or another. However, the itch to create and release emotion into a medium was always present, despite my attempts to ignore it. So, I decided to create EWN and use it has my electronic creative release. Well, that really only explains my reasoning for creating this site. On the opposing side of this coin, is how I became a programmer in the first place, allowing me to even use a web site a as an outlet for creativity.
